Und was f\u00fcr eine gro\u00dfartige Geschichte, was f\u00fcr sensationelle Charakter.<\/p>\n<p>Star des Buches ist Ramjut Pillay, indischer Postbote zweiter Klasse, ein einfacher und nachdenklicher Mensch. Und weil er so viel nachdenkt, sind seine Gedanken ihm oft im Weg. Ausweg findet er daher per Post (<em>sic!<\/em>), sein m\u00fchsam verdientes Geld steckt er in ganz wunderbare Weiterbildungen und entsprechende Zertifikate von ganz wunderlichen Instituten in \u00dcbersee.<\/p>\n<p>Oder anders: Er f\u00e4llt auf alles rein.<\/p>\n<p>Diesmal f\u00e4llt er nicht rein, sondern stolpert in einen hochpolitischen Mord an einer Apartheid Gegnerin. Kann das bitte jemand verfilmen? In slow-motion? 4K?<\/p>\n<p>Die Tote ist Naomi Stride, eine in Zuid-Afrika verbotene Schriftstellerin von Weltruhm. Daher werden Tromps Bosse extrem nerv\u00f6s und stehen unter dem Druck der Weltpresse. Und mit einem gro\u00dfartigen Kniff macht McClure diesen Druck doppelt: Eine weitere Tote, diesmal die Ehefrau eines Sicherheitspolizisten im Ruhestand. Und dieser war bekannt daf\u00fcr, das schwarze Gefangene bei ihm regelm\u00e4\u00dfig aus dem Fenster sprangen. Im 10. Stock. Des Sicherheitspolizei-HQ. Beim Verh\u00f6r. Selbstmord ohne Spuren, allesamt.<\/p>\n<p>Entsprechend nerv\u00f6s sind Tromp und sein Boss &#8211; hat der ex-Polizist seine ewig meckernde Alte ebenso spurlos umgebracht? Was wenn das rauskommt?<\/p>\n<p>Und so entsteht ein Wettlauf, dem der Leser dank Ramjut Pillay immer ein Schritt voraus ist. Ramjut selbst kann wenig dazu beitragen, hat er sich doch mit seinen Schachz\u00fcgen in die Klapse man\u00f6vriert. Er bleibt aber der <em>thorn in the side\u00a0<\/em>(und die Erinnerung das Apartheid nicht nur eine schwarzes Gesicht hatte).<\/p>\n<p>Die L\u00f6sung am Ende ist spannend (aber nicht unvorhersehbar) und dieses Buch kr\u00f6nt die Serie sowas von. Lesen!
