The Himmelfahrt with 4 bands stretching from North to way South as in Vienna. And sold out in record time. And on an evening that would be followed by a day off, as such a perfect setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Angry Voices from Hamburg kicked it off, in almost broad daylight. And a bright double rainbow over the mighty river Elbe, luring plenty of folks to the windows to take a snap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> \n<!-- Start container 1 --><div Here is a more or less traditional banger, aptly called &#8220;Underpaid &amp; Overdressed&#8221;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video height=\"368\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 640 \/ 368;\" width=\"640\" controls src=\"https:\/\/www.gehkacken.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Angry-Voices-1-Hafenklang-Hamburg-14.05.2026.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musically they worked best for me when the focus was on chorus, sing-a-long and mu-sick that was more worked out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They got plenty of cheers, plenty of sing &amp; dance-a-long from locals and they also had valid and clear cut messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=1111108537\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/track=2650543240\/transparent=true\/\" seamless><a href=\"https:\/\/knockout-records.bandcamp.com\/album\/angry-voices-the-early-days-until-now\">Angry Voices &#8211; The Early Days Until Now by Knockout Records<\/a><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perfect intro to the procedures, though sound &amp; message would be less broad (and much more heavy) with the other bands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choke Combat from Munich next and they play self-proclaimed Bootboy Hardcore. And seeing their guitar with a Fl\u00e9au sticker did give me (and one of me mates who loves them French too) almost shivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They kicked off like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video height=\"360\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 630 \/ 360;\" width=\"630\" controls src=\"https:\/\/www.gehkacken.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Choke-Combat-1-Hafenklang-Hamburg-14.05.2026.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indeed hardcore driven, energetic though throughout the set the guitar &#8211; for my liking &#8211; remained too low volume. I would have loved a wee bit of a heavier thrust from that side of the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They send the dancers flying, including a nob that choose not to listen to To me they somewhat stood out, as much as and musically similar to Complete Loss who played <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gehkacken.de\/?p=16115\">MOi!n It&#8217;s Hamburg #7<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where Choke Combat to me where a neat surprise, Collaps looked like the headliner to me. I knew there Demo and listened to their LP already online &#8211; and the later sounded almost perfect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How would they do live and in real? They kicked off like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video height=\"368\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 640 \/ 368;\" width=\"640\" controls
