Krankheit).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aus dem australischen Englisch \u00fcbersetzt von Conny L\u00f6sch, ein Qualit\u00e4tsmerkmal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich bin ganz ehrlich &#8211; ich musste mich ein wenig durch das Buch qu\u00e4len. Zum Teil weil ich einige Zeit ohne Lesen auskommen musste, zum anderen weil es entweder eine Loseblattsammlung oder aber eine clevere R\u00fcckw\u00e4rtserz\u00e4hlung ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was definitiv clever ist, ist die Art wie die R\u00fcckw\u00e4rtserz\u00e4hlung (von einer fesselnden Mordszene zu einem Kaleidoskop von Hintergr\u00fcnden) eingeleitet wird und auch durch R\u00fcckw\u00e4rtslaufende Kapitel begleitet wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Kaleidoskop von korrupten Polizisten und aufrechten Gangstern (sowie ihren Antipoden &#8211; aufrechte Interne Ermittler und richtig fiese Gangster) ist spannend aber einfach nur schwer zu lesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich denke ich habe das Buch schlicht und einfach zum falschen Zeitpunkt gelesen, da ich \u00fcber weite Strecken extrem abgelenkt war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mein Vorschlag: Lasst euch drauf ein!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soundtrack dazu: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/civicivic.bandcamp.com\/track\/born-in-the-heat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Civic &#8211; Born In The Heat<\/a><\/em>, was sonst?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PS: Da war ich doch \u00fcberrascht &#8211; im Zusammenhang mit Schiffen ist ein <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Maritime_pilot\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Pilot<\/em><\/a> auf deutsch sicher kein Pilot sondern &#8230; Lotse.
